I loved creating buildings and furniture in Second Life back in 2007. The place was exciting then, with all sorts of businesses and nonprofit organizations setting up offices there. One of the spaces in my modern office building was rented for a town hall meeting hosted by the mayor of a large city.
I was away for years and only recently stopped in to see how things were going. After all those years, my avatars were still there, with their inventories intact. I had a good time looking at all those vintage items that seem so primitive now, compared with the amazing creations people are producing now. I have so much to learn! Even though my avatars are more than 17 years old, they are essentially babies in Second LIfe.
I did update my avatars with new shapes and heads, but so far I’m still using the same old clothing. Looking forward to doing some shopping.
I don’t like crowds in RL, and I like them even less in SL, with all the lag they create. I wonder if there is anyone else there who enjoys just looking around and appreciating people’s creations.
